 ABOUT US

Sara joined Beth in 2001 following a career in the NHS as well as in private practice in Bath. She trained at Bath and worked within the NHS in Bristol and Somerset. She gained her qualification as a MMACP (Manipulative Association of Physiotherapists) and was very involved in post-graduate training for Physiotherapists within the South-West. She set up and ran a private practice near Bath before moving further into Somerset when she joined Beth in running the physiotherapy service at Street and at Millfield Senior School. She gained her acupuncturists qualifications in 2004 and graduated from the OU in 2016 with a BSc(Hons) in Psychology and she is now embarking on a part-time Masters in Mindfulness at Bangor University.

She has a particular interest in shoulder dysfunction and rehabilitation and as a runner and gig rower herself enjoys supporting fellow athletes achieve their goals. She also has a special interest in patients with persistent pain and has found her psychology studies have enriched her understanding of this complex subject.
